✦ Synopsis
The bosonisation of a modified massive Thirring model Lagrangian leads to a system with a solitary-wave solution. This is used as a bosonic coating (together with other examples) in a (1 + 1 )-dimensional chiral bag. With appropriate choice of parameters, the baryon energy is insensitive to the bag radius within a certain range. irrespective of the bosonic coating.
