✦ Synopsis

A synthesis procedure for localized source models is used to obtain a modijied extended delta (MED) source model for monopole antennas fed by a coaxial line. Input admittances computed using this model show good agreement with those obtained by measurement and with those computed with the use of the magnetic fnll source model.
