Non-adiabatic effects in third-harmonic
✍ André D. Bandrauk; Nadia Gélinas 📂 Article 📅 1986 🏛 Elsevier Science 🌐 English ⚖ 424 KB

A coupled-equations approach is used to calculate four-photon transition amplitudes in a third-harmonic generation process for the Cl1 molecule. It is shown that non-adiabatic interactions between Rydberg and valence states interfere with radiative interactions at high intensities (I> lo8 W/cm'), th
