Abstract
A novel side‐coupled 45° Schiffman phase shifter for 2.2‐GHz applications is presented with measurement results. The proposed phase shifter on a Teflon substrate is fabricated in a smaller area and more cost‐effective way, as compared to the conventional Schiffman phase shifter. In addition, the phase shifter seems very promising and useful, particularly for future 2.2‐GHz wireless applications and beyond. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
