โฆ Synopsis
Development of a highly flexible microprocessor-based system is described, which is capable of controlling traffic on all three-and four-way road junctions, every day of the week (e.g. full and half working days as well as Sundays and holidays), under all traffic conditions (peak, off-peak, etc.). Concepts such as mode, sequence, time-slot and dayplan which underlie the system are explained. Hardware, software and interfacing aspects of the system are then discussed.
