✦ Synopsis
In this paper, the proposed antenna has advantages such as small size (80 ϫ 40 ϫ 1 mm), printed planar-type radiator, and ease of mass production. The proposed antenna has sufficient bandwidth (VSWR Ͻ 2.0) to cover each dual band (CDMA and PCS). These characteristics are very attractive for practical handset-antenna applications.
