detector for impact velocity measurements was developed and calibrated.
Measurements of particle density profiles, distribution of incident momentum flux on the pipe wall and the distribution of radial particle velocity over a cross section of a horizontal pipe in the established flow region in a pneumatic conveying system, were performed and compared with pressure loss data.

## Abstract The continuous design of production systems is a major challenge facing companies, and one that requires __organization__ and __systematization__. This article describes one of the continuous design endeavors implemented in a factory manufacturing steel tubes. We have studied the collec
A new apparatus to measure mass transfer in emulsion is described. It consists in a cylindrical rod of "Teflon" surrounded by a flowing film of a water-in-oil emulsion in s column filled with an aqueous solution, It allows easy and precise measurement of the interracial area between the solution and
Neutral amino acid transport by system A was investigated in the epithelial cell lines MDCK and MDCK-T1. The latter line is a chemically induced, oncogenically transformed line derived from MDCK. Inducers of differentiation, sodium butyrate and 5-azacytidine, and a tumor promoter, TPA, were used as
