✦ Synopsis
Abstract
An efficient matrix‐inversion technique is proposed for the spherical modal decomposition (SMD) field solution for radiating structures. The advantages of this approach compared to the classical dot‐product technique are demonstrated through its application to the characterization of two radiating structures: the Yagi antenna and an antenna on the roof of a vehicle. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
