✦ Synopsis

In this paper, we introduce a peculiar and effective filtering method for post-treatment of dynamically measured curves under high speed impact. Through mathematical theory and experiment, the method is proved to be correct and can be conducted with a microcomputer. An example to measure the dynamic properties of material under high strain rates shows that the disturbance subwave of various frequencies superimposed in the measured tr-E curve will be filtered by this method. The final curve is smooth and shows real pattern of the cr-E curve.
