โฆ Synopsis
A magnetic momentum-analyzer DCBA is being developed at KEK in order to study neutrinoless double beta decay. A test apparatus called DCBA-T has been constructed to solve technical problems. On the basis of the results obtained by DCBA-T, R&D studies are continued for improving energy resolution, and for installing decay source of about 600 kg, which is required to obtain the neutrino mass sensitivity of 0.05 eV.
