Surface-acoustic wave (SAW) filters operating at frequences in the 1-3 GHz range are widely used in mobile, wireless, cable modem, cellular phone and remote control applications. We fabricated and studied both the basic mold for such devices and a special SAW filter mold with finger patterns with a

โฆ Synopsis
A precision phase shifting network has been developed which can be constructed cheaply. This circuit finds many applications in acoustics.
In many multiple source acoustic systems it is important to set up accurately the relative phases of the sources. When the sources are required to be exactly in or out of phase it is usually assumed, often incorrectly, that the transducers are identical in phase characteristics. A precision phase shifting network accompanying each source enables the exact phase relationships between them to be established. A precision phase shifting network and some multiple source applications are described in this Note.
