The title compound, bis[μ~3~-bis(tert-butylamido)bis(tert-butylimido)silyl]di-μ~3~-chloro-tetratetrahydrofuranhexalithium(I), [Li~6~(C~16~H~38~N~4~Si)~2~Cl~2~(C~4~H~8~O)~4~], crystallizes as a dimer of two contact ion pairs linked together by two molecules of lithium chloride. The two halves of the molecule are related by a crystallographic twofold rotation axis.
