Partial hydatidiform moles (PM) are rare. They occur in 1:10,000 to 1:100,000 pregnancies.li2 The pre-evacuation clinical diagnosis of PM in more than 90% of patients is either missed or incomplete abortion, the diagnosis being made only af- ter histologic review of curettage specimen^.^
