## Communicated by Urn Frrmcke Mutations in the insulin receptor gene can cause genetic syndromes associated with extreme insulin resistance. We have investigated a patient with leprechaunism (IeprechaudQatar-I) born of a consanguineous marriage. Postnatally, the proband had episodes of severe hyp
