✦ Synopsis
Once annually, we acknowledge and thank our colleagues who contribute to the success of Movement Disorders. The quality of a journal depends on four major factors: excellent submissions from authors, balanced and exacting critiques from reviewers, an active and interactive readership, and a strong publisher with expertise and commitment. At the administrative level, we thank the Editorial Board members for their advice and support as well as the journal Oversight Committee, chaired by Joseph Jankovic. We also thank the many colleagues who have taken the time and energy to read submitted manuscripts and provide the critiques necessary to guide prospective authors on revisions and to uphold the high quality of our journal. We also honour the authors who have submitted high-quality work to the Journal. Good manuscripts make the job of reviewing easier, more satisfactory, and ultimately more scientifically powerful. In addition, we thank the readers of the journal for their fidelity and for their comments that have helped us to sculpt changes. Finally, our personal and professional thanks are extended to Bernadette Gillard and Anette Seils, administrative assistants to the journal in Chicago and Kiel, and to Mary Todd Bergman and Jennifer English at Wiley Publishers.
Below we list the colleagues who have served as ad-hoc reviewers for the Journal in 2004. Our list was generated by our centralized journal management program, and though we have double-checked manually for completeness, we apologize in advance if you have reviewed for us and your name is not listed.
