✦ Synopsis

A new approach to fuzzy optimization based on the generalization of Bellman-Zadeh's (BZ) concept is proposed in this article. It consists of a parametric generalization of intersection of fuzzy sets and a generalized defuzzification method. This approach allows the solving of a fuzzy mathematical programming (FMP) problem without transformation to a crisp one. It takes into account all possible fuzzy decisions and allows the degree of conjunction of criteria and constraints to vary. BZ method can be considered a special case of the approach proposed here. A simple algorithm for noniterative solving FMP problem is proposed whereas well-known Zimmermann's approach uses numerical methods, An illustrative example is presented.

## Abstract The paper proposes a flexible way to build concepts within fuzzy logic and set theory. This paper presents a systematic approach to implementing fuzzy parsers. A fuzzy parser is a form of syntax analyzer that performs analysis on selected portions of its input rather than performing a detailed analysis of a complete source text. Fuzzy parsers are often components of software tools and

This paper presents a fuzzy multi-objective linear programming approach to solve the energy allocation problem. For this, nine energy resources and six household end uses are considered. An optimal solution will be extracted, and an explicit interactive sensitivity analysis will be dealt with. As th

It is shown that various well-known generalizations of Stirling numbers of the first and second kinds can be unified by starting with transformations between generalized factorials involving three arbitrary parameters. Previous extensions of Stirling numbers due to Riordan, Carlitz, Howard, Charalam
