A method for connecting independently constructed three dimensional ΓΏnite element conduction models is proposed. The models may be connected with a thermal contact resistance or directly coupled. The meshes on connecting surfaces may be dissimilar in type or conΓΏguration. Some examples are included to illustrate the features and the use of the method.
