β¦ Synopsis
A method for connecting independently constructed three dimensional ΓΏnite element conduction models is proposed. The models may be connected with a thermal contact resistance or directly coupled. The meshes on connecting surfaces may be dissimilar in type or conΓΏguration. Some examples are included to illustrate the features and the use of the method.

A Lagrange-multiplier based approach is presented for the general solution of multi-body contact within an explicit ΓΏnite element framework. The technique employs an explicit predictor step to permit the detection of interpenetration and then utilizes a corrector step, whose solution is obtained wit
## Abstract Cooling performance of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, whose element pressed on the inner bottom surface of the capacitor housing in order to decrease thermal contact resistance between the element and the housing, was measured and improved. It was found that a thermally conductive
