A new approach depending on the notion of fuzzy spaces has been developed to study the fuzzy topological spaces. The use of fuzzy space as a universal set corrects the deviation in the deÿnitions of the closed fuzzy subset and the closure of a fuzzy subset in fuzzy topological spaces. ?
In this paper we introduce the notion of fuzzy ideal in fuzzy set theory. The concept of fuzzy local function is also introduced here by utilizing the q-neighbourhood structure for a fuzzy topological space. These concepts are discussed with a view to find new fuzzy topologies from the original one.
In this paper, we introduce and characterize several types of normality in double fuzzy topological spaces. The effects of some types of functions on these types of normality are introduced.
