β¦ Synopsis
The idea of a linear flowmeter is presented and bench tests with air are reported. A standard deviation of 0.25% of maximum scale reading was found and a relative error of 0.5% over a measuring range of up to 1:1000 seems realistic. Our preliminary research refers to gases only. Liquids are not excluded.
