โœฆ Synopsis

In plume models differences between the velocity and density deficiency cross-sectional profiles are related by the turbulent Schmidt number, 12 . The often made assumption that I = I is shown to be untenable.

It is suggested that the value of I depends on the nature of the cross-sectional profile assumed and on the local Froude number.

Further laboratory work is recommended to confirm or modify the formulae proposed here.

In order to evaluate the Coulomb and exchange integrals in the semiempirical SCF MO methods over an spd-basis of orbitals, an approximation of the model function of the Coulomb hole is used. The procedure of calculating mono-and bicentric Coulomb integrals based on the properties of Fourier transfor
