β¦ Synopsis
We give a formal solution of the single -particle Green's function of a scalar field in an external gravitational field in functional integral form. The problem is solved by introducing an internal coordinate 5 and making all operators as commuting functions of the variable 5. The operator products are rearranged from right to left in the order of increasing (. This is achieved by generalizing Feynman's theorem on disentangling operator expressions to include derivative and nonpolynomial interactions.

## Abstract The discrete complex image method is one of the most efficient techniques used to evaluate the Green's functions of multilayered media. The usual extraction of surface waves may limit the validity of this method in the nearβfield region. The aim of this work is to handle this problem su
