β¦ Synopsis
We discuss a prototype Fortran 90 separable Hamiltonian system solver and present a template illustrating its use. The solver permits a wide choice of symplectic and non-symplectic integrators, and fixed and errorcontrolled integration step sizes. It is designed to permit insertion of new formulas as they become available.

The program presented computes all the Lyapunov exponents of an unknown dynamical system from a time series. The method used is based on a fitting of the time series with an analytical function through a least square minimizatior, after which the Lyapunov exponents are determined from the stability
