โœฆ Synopsis

The late spring produced a flurry of activity at both the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). In late April, the Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies issued its Final Report, which consisted of 33 recommendations in 241 pages. While acknowledging that all the recommendations were important, a two-tiered approach for their consideration and implementation was adopted.
