✦ Synopsis

We introduce a new family of (\mathbb{Z}) bases for the ring of (S_{n}) characters and give their transition matrices explicitly. Applying one of these bases, we introduce a recursive formula for the Kronecker product of two characters. Another application is a sufficient condition for the vanishing of the coefficient of an irreducible character in a Kronecker product.

## Abstract We present a facile and highly stereoselective approach to the indolo[2,3‐__a__]quinolizine ring system from a readily available, non‐racemic chiral template. We demonstrate the potential for application of this methodology to natural product synthesis through conversion of the template

Recent theory and methodology for inferences concerning the interclass correlation coefficient are reviewed, focusing on the case of a single individual in one class and a variable number of individuals in the other. Topics discussed include point and interval estimation, as well as significance-tes
