Spermidine and noqesmidine polyamine derivatives are synthesized in two or three steps by sodium bomhydride reduction of substituted 2-(2cym~x%hyl)-and 2-(2-benzylaminoethyI)_1,2-dihydropyrimidines, respectively: these diaziis are in turn available from 4-amino-l-azadkne derivatives 1.
