✦ Synopsis

In their article, these authors claimed that a thermodynamic approach, allowing to determine the nature of the stable phases and the concentration of the ionic species in solution appeared to be needed ; that Barret et al. undertook such a study, but on the assumption that the nature of the formed hydrated was known, using experimental results which did not guarantee that the thermodynamic equilibrium conditions were respected and that, standing upstream from these results, they endeavoured to determine the nature of the thermodynamically stable solid phases at first.
