The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent to which a psychoeducational intervention called ''Powerful Tools for Caregivers'' (PTC) influences burden of spouse caregivers. Specifically, this study examined whether spouse caregivers who attended PTC exhibited reductions in stress burden,
