The fluorimetric determination of adrenaline and noradrenaline is usually carried out by oxidation of the catecholamines to adrenochrornc or noradrenochrome, whereafter tllese derivatives are converted to fluorescent lutincs by addition of allcali in an oxygen-free solution.
