โฆ Synopsis
The paper presents a method of current control of a phase-controlled six-pulse bridge converter, especially designed for use with microcomputers. By adapting the sampling instants in a suitable manner to the actual status of the converter, high dynamic performance of the controlled system is obtained. While the feedforward control of the converter and the determination of the correct sampling instants is executed by a simple 8-bit microcomputer, the control algorithm is executed by a more powerful 16-bit microcomputer.
