A program is developed for estimation of median effective dose (ED50 or LD50), using the hand-held programmable pocket calculator HP41CV. The well-known Finney's algorithm of probit analysis is used. Input of data is simple, but is restricted to a maximum of 15 groups. The program structure makes us

โฆ Synopsis
BASIC computer program for calculating ED,, and LDso values and their confidence limits by probit analysis and weighted linear regression is presented. It also includes the Chi square procedure for testing the mathematical model and allows on-screen high resolution graphic display. The portable program can easily be modified for use in different models of microcomputers.

It has been suggested that the physician would be aided in his interpretation of clinical laboratory results if the data were reported in terms of percentile ranking in a reference population as well as in conventional units. This paper describes a FORTRAN porgram for estimating the necessary refere
Concentration gradients are often used in separations based on chromatographic, electrophoretic and centrifugal methods. In this report. a BASIC computer program for calculating and graphically representing gradients is described. This GRADIENT program is intended to be run on IBM-compatible compute
A computer program, DEMOS (for Decomposition Mode Solution), has been written to estimate the chemical concentrations and rate constants in a computer model of a multienzyme system such that it accurately reproduces the instantaneous kinetic state of the system. The entire system is defined in the B
