Acuchem is a program for solving the system of differential equations describing the temporal behavior of spatially homogeneous, isothermal, multicomponent chemical reaction systems. It is designed to provide modelers, data evaluators, and laboratory scientists with an easy to use program for modeli

โฆ Synopsis
A program is described to determine the labeling pattern following addition to an unlabeled biochemical system of a labeled compound. Input for this program consists of a set of equations describing the unlabeled system, and a specifically labeled compound. A computation consists of a series of passes, in which all the input equations are executed in order, using all possible labeling combinations of the reacting substances. The output consists of all the new equations (i.e., equations containing new labeled compounds, or new types of equations forming labeled compounds already present resulting from each pass. The application of this program to the study of highly interconnected metabolic systems is discussed.

A computer program, DEMOS (for Decomposition Mode Solution), has been written to estimate the chemical concentrations and rate constants in a computer model of a multienzyme system such that it accurately reproduces the instantaneous kinetic state of the system. The entire system is defined in the B
