✦ Synopsis

A computer-aided selection procedure for rolling element bearings is described and its use illustrated by examples of computer printout. The programs are written in the interactive Focal language for use on a PDP-8 computer. To avoid the need for extensive computer storage of bearing data, certain data for the bearing under test have to be entered during each program run.
