✦ Synopsis
The precision and accuracy of "S/"S ratio measurements in sulfides by ion microprobe is compared using two different techniques, high mass resolution and extreme energy filtering. Our results indicate that the extreme energy filtering technique is more robust, yielding both better precision and accuracy. The difference between the two techniques is particularly apparent when measuring samples mounted in different sample mounts.
