✦ Synopsis

A study comparing four experimental ELDOR techniques is presented. Due to field modulation three methods yield possibly incorrzct relaxation parameters. One method, namely sweeping magnetic field and pumping frequency simultmeously, yields always correct values. Occasionally integration is n valuable dtrr.mtive.

## Abstract Near‐infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is known to be a suitable technique for rapid fermentation monitoring. Industrial fermentation media are complex, both chemically (ill‐defined composition) and physically (multiphase sample matrix), which poses an additional challenge to the development

Methods used in the past in order to solve numerically the resistive and compressible magnetohydrodynamic equations as an initial value problem are the two-step Lax-Wendroff method and the spectral method. Furthermore, it has recently been proposed to use direct finite space differences with a high-
