The first successful radio astronomical results of measurements of the magnetic field of solar prominences are presented. The accuracy of polarization and magnetic field observations is 3 . lo-\* and 2 G, respectively. The observations were made by the 22-meter radio telescope of the Crimean Astroph

โฆ Synopsis
In order to study the influence of the different treatment of the boundary conditions in different extrapolation schemes, the procedures of , Nakagawa and have been applied to the same (line-of-sight) magnetogram. The main field structure is similar for all three procedures, whereas in details there are clear differences, for example in the direction of the field lines in the overview, the heights to which the field lines extend, the number of field lines that leave the region, the field strength decrease with height, and the calculated amounts of magnetic energy in the chromospheric and coronal parts of the considered active region.

The discrepancies in the values of longitudinal magnetic field obtained from magnetographic records in different spectral lines are considered. On the basis of extensive data including 60 pairs of magnetographic maps for 11 spectral lines, obtained simultaneously for one of these lines and 26103 wit
An analysis is made of mean latitudinal profiles of the meridional drift of the large-scale solar magnetic fields. The previously detected equaturward migration of the drift pattern in the course of a cycle is confirmed. Evidence for the existence of a near-equatorial narrow zone -t-7 ~ with an equa
