✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The scattering from finite frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) characterized by planar interfaces is analyzed, resorting to two PO‐based hybrid techniques. The hybrid techniques, validated with a full‐wave numerical technique, are easy to implement, fast, and already quite accurate for medium‐size FSSs. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, an efficient hybrid MM‐PO method combining UV technique is applied to calculate the EM scattering from a 2D PEC target above a PEC rough surface. Considering the target as the MM region and the rough surface as the PO region, the current on the rough surface is obtained
