4-[82Br]Bromoantipyrine has been synthesized by three methods: the melt method, the isotopic exchange in acidic medium method and the silica gel catalyzed method. The melt method is the s i m lest one and gives the highest radiochemical yield (--90%). 4-[1311]-Iodoantipyrine has also been synthesized by these three methods with higher radiochemical yield than the bromo analog. The radiochemical yield of 4 - [ 1311] iodoantipyrine synthesized by the silica gel catalyzed method depends on the reactton time of antipyrine with [1311]NaI solution, but does not depend largely on the contact time between a n t i ~y r i n e -[ ~~~I JNal solution with silica gel. 12 or 1 ' was proposed as an intermediate for this reaction.
4-[82Br]bromoantipyrine is 9.78.

## Abstract The commonly used size of microsphere for bone blood flow estimation is 15 ΞΌm, because it has appeard to be the smallest size that is not subject to significant nonentrapment in bone. Softβtissue studies suggest that it is microspheres of 9β10 ΞΌm or less that pass through peripheral tis
