Abstract
In this paper, the problem of scattering from finite perfectly conducting (PEC) plates has been analyzed by using the windowed plane wave spectrum (WPWS) technique, and the resultant solution is further refined via spectral transformation. The importance of windowing the spectrum of the induced current to improve the solution has been demonstrated. Numerical results have been presented to illustrate the accuracy of the technique via a comparison with those derived by using the method of moments analysis employing Rao, Wilton, and Glisson basis functions. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
