Using a hlonte Carlo technique and a.simple interuarticle potential, some properties of a stable colloidal suspension are c&dated. The resuls are in reasonable ageement with recent experimental observations.
We study the e ect of correlations due to hardcore e ects in the distribution of ions around a spherical macroion enclosed in a limited cell. The osmotic pressure is also computed. Both the proΓΏle and the pressure are obtained within density functional approaches. Various recipes for the correlation
