✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, tetraammonium octamolybdate bis(2methylbenzimidazole), (NH 4 ) 4 [Mo 8 O 26 ]Á2C 8 H 8 N 2 , the crystal packing is stabilized by N-HÁ Á ÁO, N-HÁ Á ÁN and C-HÁ Á ÁO intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds, as well asstacking. The anion lies on an inversion center.
