✦ Synopsis

A dispersion model for suspended microstrip lines is presented in the range of 0.6 F W r h F 10, 1.05 F F 12.95, f F 100 r2 GHz; that is, f и h F 2 GHz и cm. This model pro¨ides the rms de¨iation within 1% ¨ersus the results of SDA. The model is based on the concept ( ) of ¨irtual permitti¨ity and the single-layer reduction SLR formalism.

## Abstract In this paper we present a new theoretical model for the modelling of the microstrip line as well as two types of discontinuities: regular (open end, step, bend and T‐ and cross‐junctions) and irregular (stub and bent‐stub). The two‐dimensional exact dyadic Green function of a grounded
