A quaslclasslcal trajectory study has been performed on the reaction C (P) + H2(X Eg) ~ CH + H near the threshold energy, using a modified LEPS surface proposed by the authors. The results obtained show good agreement with the limited experimental information available.

β¦ Synopsis
A ciasGcaI trajectory analysis has been performed on the ion-molecule reaction Cc+ Hz +CH++ H. The results of the calculation are compared with the results of molecular beam experiments_

Ion-molecule reaction pathways between H-SiNH; and NH3 have been examined by ab initio quantum chemical techniques using polarized split-valence basis sets and including the effects of electron cowelation and zero-point energy corrections. An improved version of a recently reported semiclassical wavepacket approach is used to compute initial state selected total integral cross sections as well as thermal rate constants for the reaction OH+H2 ---\* H20+H. The method involves treating the diatomic vibrations as well as their relative tr
