A certain class of periodic orbits around the two finite masses in the restricted problem of three bodies. Hy K Lous. [With onr platv.] In :IN 4865 (and Copenhagen Publications no. 26) 1)r. C. Burran antl Prof. R. Sfromgren have published a paper forming a part of the researches made at the Copenhagen observatory on 1)eriodic orbits. At the end of this paper the authors mention a class of periodic orbits enclosing the two finite masses and by a direct movement of m 3 , the first computed member of this class being the orbit forming a point outward along the 7-axis and the whole class being limited by the double orbit of ejection passing throtigh both inI and ?ti?.
