✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Objective testing techniques, such as multiple‐choice examinations, are a widely accepted method of assessment in gross anatomy. In order to deter cheating on these types of examinations, instructors often design several versions of an examination to distribute. These versions usually involve the rearrangement of questions and their corresponding answer choices. This study will determine whether the distribution of different versions of an examination affects student performance in a lower division anatomical science course. Students who receive the original version of an examination may be at an advantage over those that receive a shuffled version of an examination because of the systematic tendencies that go into examination construction. This study concludes that the shuffling of questions and answer choices to produce multiple versions of an examination does not affect student performance. Anat Sci Educ. This paper critically reviews the use of kinetics in modelling (bio)chemical changes in foods. Multiresponse modelling (taking more reactants and products of the reaction under study into consideration in the modelling process) is advocated as opposed to uniresponse modelling (in which only one resp

A total of 405 diabetic patients who first attended St Thomas' Diabetes Clinic between 1982 and 1985 had a detailed standardized computerized first visit record, including a structured foot examination and toe vibration perception thresholds (VPT, Biothesiometer), were reviewed in 1995. The aim of our case-control study was to estimate the effect on mortality from colorectal cancer (CRC) of a population-based screening with a faecal occult blood test started in 1982 in a rural area of the district of Florence. We examined the relationship between mortality and the interval since th
