IT is unconimon to meet cases in which urgent abdominal symptoms are the result of gross malposition of the viscera. In the case about to be rcportecl, the symptoms were clearly those of intestinal obstruction. the cause of which could not be diagnosed before operation. It was possible a t the post-mortem examination to demonstrate the complete extent of the abnormality, and as reported cases of this condition are few, as full a record as practicable of this case has been made.
