Case presentation: A. H. was born of Moslem Arab parents in 1962. Her infancy and early childhood were unremarkable. Her illness started in January 1966 with recurrent bouts of abdominal pain and vomiting. It was initially ascribed to intestinal parasites and she received a vermifuge. In mid-Februa
