A rare case of fourth ventricle meningioma with a combined intraventricular-intracerebellar localization, successfully removed by surgical treatment, is reported. The features of this type of meningioma as compared to the purely intra-ventricular variety are discussed.

โฆ Synopsis
The case of woman, aged 52, who had a fourth ventricular epidermoid, which eluded definite diagnosis for six years because of spontaneous remissions, is reported. Computed tomography may be misleading in such cases with spontaneous remission of symptoms because of the low electron density of the tumor which is not enhanced by intravenous contrast medium. Other diagnostic means such as ventriculography should not be neglected.

Central nervous system sarcoidosis and its varied neuroradiological manifestations are reviewed. Two cases of mechanical obstruction secondary to sarcoid granulomata at the outlet of the fourth ventricle are described.
The relationships between the third and fourth ventricles have been studied by examination of the angles formed by third and fourth ventricular projections. These have been subjected to statistical analysis and have proved useful for posterior fossa stereotactic surgery.
