The authors study the shape optimization of a complex cracked shell under complex criteria. The shell is one of various cases of a turboshaft, and optimization criteria are associated to the cost, the technology, and above all the working conditions for the turboshaft. The optimization criteria invo

โฆ Synopsis
This paper describes a 2ยฝD site model constructed from randomly scattered data points. The model is based on the subdivision of the xy plane known as the Dirichlet tessellation and its data structure is a computer representation of the related Delaunay triangulation. Applications of the site model are described which assist the engineer, architect and quanitity surveyor in building site problems. The problems of relating and coordinating the large amounts of data needed to set up the model are discussed and the user interface described.
