After months of trying to conceive without success, Lizzy is feeling dejected about the prospect when Lydia shows up for an unexpected visit. She brings along her infant son, and Lizzy is enamored with baby Ian. When Lydia leaves Ian behind to go to London to search for her missing husband, Fitzwilliam steps in to help deal with Wickham once again.
