Abstract
A broadband monolithic single‐ended active frequency doubler fed by a single positive DC power supply is presented. The effects of the self‐bias approach on the doubler performances are investigated and a design method is proposed. Measured performances demonstrate the competitiveness of the proposed circuit with respect to more traditional doublers. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
